Alhamdulillah on Feb 7th, 2007 Muslim Care group had a meeting with the Sewards Tower Common Bond management people regarding our request for office space at this Seniors High Rise Building. The idea is to be available at this high rise building for couple of hours every sunday and help the seniors with whatever we can.

They were so much happy and excited to hear about us and the services we are planning to provide for the seniors.

We explained to them what we are upto and the scope of our services for phase 1 and requested them for an office space on sundays. They had some concerns before they could open up a space for us. One was to have our services open to all seniors and not just muslims and we agreed to it. Alhamdulillah the management finally agreed to give us a space to start this service.

We as Building Blocks, Muslim Care are required to sign a partnership agreement with the management as per their standard policies. Every organization that wants to work with the seniors at this facility has to sign this partnership form.

They arranged for an Orientation for us before we can start site hours. The date for orientation is finalized for Mar 1st at 6pm. This is to bring us upto speed with what other services they have available for seniors and how our work fits into their existing services they have for the seniors.

InshaAllah, Allah will pay us back for every second we spend to establish this much needed service for seniors and to get it started and going.
