First Orientation: Hospital Laws and Precautions |

Alhamdulillah we had our first Orientation at Fairview University Campus.
Things are very clear now and we are now confident about visiting the patients at the hospitals. It definitely is a very responsible job and one could easily get into big trouble without following some of the very basic rules set by the hospital. Some very important ones are
1. Washing hands before and after the visit
2. Strict Patient Confidentiality
3. Not offering to the patient anything to eat or drink, except with the permission of the nurse.
4. Being extra careful in cases where the patients have contagious situations.
5. Visting Mental Patients have its own laws and precautions, we will be going through another orientation on this subject if we get more and more calls related to the Mental Patients.
Our next step is to setup weekly scheduled visits at the Hospitals.
Currently we are only doing on-call visits.
