Students will also be trained on using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. The program is a collaboration with Masjid Abu Bakr to train the youth in IT-related areas. Initially, there are only 7 students but once trained, these students will later teach this class to other youth. Students will be required to do their assignments and projects. Teachers will help prepare handouts, teaching material, and homework/quizzes to make the youth's education effective. The following subjects will be taught: - Students will learn Excel and PowerPoint advanced features to help them become confident about creating activity budget proposals as well as public presentations.
- Adobe Photoshop and Publisher will be taught to increase their creativity with graphic design and in making newsletters and fliers
- They will also learn how to use video and audio recording equipment and creating HTML based webpages to make their recordings available online (thru FTP).
