Marriage – Breast Feeding and Cross Religious Marriages

Guidelines of breat feeding that make marriage forbidden

  • Milk should be from a human woman
  • Not restricted to suckling. Includes bottle, throat and nasal feeding
  • Milk should result in growth of muscle and bones
  • Can be mixed with other substances
  • Can be a non-Muslim woman
  • The woman does not have to be married
  • Has to be in the first 2 years
